On a showroom in Moscow Hyundai has presented concept new national car which has received name RB. According to Koreans, it's only concept, but it is not necessary to perceive their words literally. Actually before us model almost ready to a batch production which in some months will start to exhaust at new factory in St.-Petersburg (model sales start in the spring).
And, Koreans prepare to do the car in rather decent quantities. The exact volume of output the next year isn't informed, but it is known that the new enterprise is capable to exhaust 150 000 cars in a year. And still Hyundai prepares to open in Russia high-grade manufacture body elements, including punching. And after all punching manufacture is the most expensive in car industry. And while any world company hasn't dared at creation in Russia high-grade punching manufactures – all others are limited to welding and coloring of bodies, delivering body elements from abroad (only the part of details Renault stamps in Russia, but Hyundai prepares to do all basic elements).
Under a cowl of the first russian Hyundais will put two motors. The petrol unit in volume of 1,4 l which gives out 107 h.p. and 135 Nm becomes base. If it is not enough, there will be a possibility to order the car with 1,6 l, 124 h.p. and 156 Nm. And, both motors will be completed not only mechanics, but also four-stage automatic machine.
What will be in a basic set of new Hyundai for the present it is not known.
